New freedom in abstract art

I have found a new freedom in my painting practice of my abstract artwork. I have always found painting challenging but so rewarding. I have gone through dark stages of self doubt where I have stopped painting all together. Lately though I have found a new freedom and this is because I have decided to trust myself no matter what. This has made all the difference in the enjoyment of painting but also in the results. The images that you see are my latest works. They fill me with so much joy. They are colorful and deep and so textured and layered, much like me. I feel close to them, I feel inspired by them and I feel they have taught me so much about the challenges that I put in front of myself.
