Affirmation Bowls Workshop with Cath Kerr and Gemma Troy

Join Cath Kerr and I for a fun workshop making affirmations bowls out of clay.

Location: The Birdcatcher Gallery: 51-59 Apps Road, Maroochy River

What you will be learning: We will show you how to make simple bowls without a wheel using hump moulds and slabs of clay. We will be using white stoneware clay and various stamps to stamp words of affirmations into the clay. You will then use oxides and underglaze to decorate your bowl. Other decorations techniques will also be demonstrated.

What to bring: Affirmations that you love and want to stamp into the clay. 

Firing and pick up: Your bowl will be bisque fired and then glazed fired with a clear glaze. Your bowl will be available for pick up 5-6 weeks after the workshop.
